Tara Cohen is the
co-owner of Animal Artistry Mobile Grooming. She has been grooming pets professionally for 7 years. She is a Certified Dog and Cat Groomer, having graduated from the California School of
Dog Grooming in 2006 and after working at several other grooming shops, started her own grooming business in 2007. Tara has
loved animals since she was a child, and has always wanted to work with them as a pet professional. She has a gentle touch
and an artist's flair for grooming- and sees every pet as a work of art (although can be obsessive about getting them
"just right" sometimes!) She takes our "Grooming With Love" slogan very seriously, and always strives
to treat every pet as if it were her own. Tara
has 3 mixed breed dogs at home- a bichon frise, a border collie, and a terrier mix, all of which she adopted
from shelters.
Jeneane McBride's love of animals has been strong since childhood, when she tried (unsuccessfully)
to house the neighborhood strays. As a young adult, she began volunteering at a horse rescue, then worked at various farms
until a cross-country move brought her back to CA in 2006. Needing her "daily dose of fur", she attended grooming
school at Petsmart, and began grooming for them. She quickly tired of the lack of personal time and touches she was able to
give each animal and moved on to smaller, private salons. She loves getting one-on-one time with puppies and kitties
(young and old), getting to know them, and treats them like her 'babies' while they're in her care. Jeneane specializes
in curly-coated dogs, but has real talent with all breeds of dogs and cats. Jeneane's pets include a cat, a beagle, and
an old, retired thoroughbred.
Hilary Rendina has
grown up with Standard Poodles her whole life, grooming her own poodle from the age of ten. Her first grooming job was as
a bather in her home town of San Clemente. She graduated from Golden Paws Academy in 2008 and has been in the industry ever
since. She started competed with her newest addition, Leela, for the past two years. She loves spending time with the animals,
connecting on a personal level to make every experience as fun as possible. She takes extra time and care to make sure every
dog she grooms looks as beautiful as possible.
