We recently rescued a poodle/lhasa/terrier mix who had been
abandoned by his family for several weeks before he came to us. “Clouseau” was traumatized, terrified of being
enclosed and just generally tricky to help. After essential veterinary care had been taken care of, we needed to find a way
to clean him up. Our normal groomer is wonderful but it was not possible to leave him at the shop. I was leery of some of
the other mobile services I checked out – pricy and the reviews/quality were not consistently good. When we read the
reviews of Animal Artistry and saw the shelter work that Tara and Chrissy have done, we called. It was an incredibly positive
experience for us and for both of our dogs. Clouseau looks and feels so much better and our 11-year-old Cairn terrier, Chloe,
came out looking like a queen. Not having to leave our house or have the dogs shut up greatly reduced their anxiety and ours.
The pricing is very fair, about $15-20 more than the regular groomer. We have told our neighbors of the service and several
of us are now going to coordinate “appointments” so that we can all benefit.

Tara came to my house on a Saturday morning to groom the family (2 long hair Maine Coon cats, 1 Standard Poodle and
a 13-year-old "crabby" Chow Chow who belongs in a Geriatric Ward).
I was totally impressed with Tara's
professionalism and her attention to detail grooming each of the the animals. The hair between the pads of each cat's
feet were trimmed and each cat experienced stress-free grooming. My Standard Poodle looked like a show dog when she
was finished grooming him.
The real test was Chato, my Chow Chow. I've have been turned away from groomers
because he can be very "testy" during the grooming process and Chows have a reputation for being aggressive.
Tara had the patience of a saint working with him. She agreed to allow my husband and I help her groom him because he
has a difficult time standing due to arthritis. He was extremely difficult to groom because he was laying down most
of the time. He had to be lifted (all 75 pounds of him) into the tub and onto the grooming table. Chato looked
beautiful when she was finished.
I highly recommend Animal Artistry to pet owners looking for outstanding grooming services

I just want to tell you how happy I am with your service. I was a nervous wreck because
I didn't want my dog to hurt like she did the last time I took her to my previous groomer.
Your groomer, Jeneane,
was wonderful. I peeked through the window of the van & she was clipping her laying down. My dog just can't stand
very long at the time. Jeneane did a beautiful job & my dog looks great & was not in any pain last night. Pretty,
